THE PROJECT
Patient area upgrades, switchboard upgrades and generator replacement
Foster’s Services were brought on to conduct an essential services switchboard upgrade and generator replacement project for the Peel Health Campus.
With several trades working simultaneously around active wards, this project involved major coordination with the State Health Department and hospital operators to conduct the changeovers and upgrades in a manner that would cause minimal disruption to hospital operations.

- RCD upgrades
- Body protection upgrades
- Essential power installation across all ward switchboards through the complex
- 90 live ward upgrades to AS/NZS 3003, the medical area standard
- Site generator replacement with an 800 kVA unit and extended fuel pod infrastructure back into the site’s existing ATS switchboard
